Too sh****" GPs.. not happy at all, I need to find me another good( medical centre) no good receptionist, not really care wether you're sick or you're dead.
Never answer the phone , get to appointment on time and have to wait an hour or more. Rude receptionist!!
The staff in particular pharmacy staff are friendly and very helpful; my only complaint is trying to get a Dr appointment!!! It seems impossible to call in for a next available appointment unless you physically go to the office!!! I do share the same frustrations as others have expressed specially with a busy life we all have it is a real nuisance!! Please fix it.
If I could rate less than one star, I would. Waiting times for an appointment is at least 3-4 WEEKS, if it is urgent they ask you to call in the morning as there are appointments on the day to be had. I called every day for a week, waiting up to 49..!! minutes and only to be put on hold for another 20, and then of course, there was no appointments available. Some of the times nobody bothered to answer at all. I had a medical urgency recently when it was found out that my BP was extremely high during a routine visit for a repeat prescription renewal. The Doctor said I had to see the health care nurse no later than at the end of that week (this was on a Tuesday) but when asking the receptionist for an urgent appointment, the earliest they had was two weeks later, and nothing could be done despite the doctors recommendation for an urgent appointment...!! So what about those appointments you have on the day then....? Why couldn't they give me one of them??! (Which as stated above, I couldn't get through too or get an appointment for!!) Two weeks later I return to the health care nurse, I still had extremely high blood pressure so SHE made sure I saw the Doctor that same day for medication. Carole, you're a superstar!Then we of course have the issue of prescriptions being "lost" and/or never sent to the pharmacy. This has been going on for years. I do feel sorry for Shinfield Pharmacy, (who's absolutely brilliant by the way) as they have had to help me out a number of times with medications, because of the surgery.Once you get an appointment, be ready to wait for 30-40 minutes before you are actually seen. I've never had an appointment actually happen on time. Ever.Online services are a joke. I had to apply twice as they lost my first application, waiting time was up to 6 MONTHS to get it sorted and the repeat prescriptions are never correct.
Five days phoning on two phones simultaneously. No answer for 67 rings kept on hold for 39 minuets once got through ...... looking for reliable doctors that dont fob you off . Two practices and still cant get their act together regarding patients!
